ABOUT ME

Even though our world is "shrinking", and technology unifies us, we still remain separated by language. lexikon-translations ensures its English and German speaking clientele will safely cross that bridge of communication.

My name is Wolf Brech. I am a freelance technical translator in the language combination German / English. I founded lexikon-translations in 2002. The aim was to offer that certain something and error-free translations combined with courteous and personal service.

My non-linguistic background in mechanical engineering spans more than 14 years in the aerospace, aircraft and automotive industries. I have worked on international and commercial projects such as the International Space Station, the Boeing 747, 767X and 737 aircraft, Bombardier's Global Express ©, the Bell Helicopter M427, as well as full-motion flight simulators and many others.

Working in such a highly technical and demanding industrial sector has helped me understand the complexities of technical translations.

My linguistic background builds on these intricacies of engineering. As an avid learner and with a desire to keep up to date with the latest translation tools, I have received a Certificate in Technical Translations from German to English from the University of Toronto, Canada. That allowed me to build a customer base based on trust. A selection of these companies can be found on the "PROJECTS" webpage.
